Pakistan’s First Smart Weather Portal With Advanced Forecasting Features Launched

The introduction of Pakistan’s first smart weather platform aims to address climate change and lower the risk of natural disasters. The platform, created in partnership with Linked Things, Pak Weather, and Karachi Weather Updates, aims to safeguard people and property through sophisticated weather forecasting and monitoring capabilities.
The Smart Weather Portal was officially launched during an event in Karachi. The previous country’s top meteorologist, Tauseef Alam, as well as meteorologists Owais Haider, Faizan Khan, Sofia Hasnain, Najaf Haider, Malik Mudassar, Ansar Hashmi, Muhammad Haseeb, Naila Zaryab, and Syed Zeeshan attended the event, which was held at a local hotel.
16 contemporary weather stations have also been placed throughout Karachi. In the near future, it’s anticipated that thousands of comparable gadgets will be introduced nationwide. These cutting-edge technologies will help combat climate change and reduce the likelihood of natural disasters, ultimately working to save individuals’ lives and property.
