ABT Urus Scatenato Unleashed With 810 Horsepower, Exclusivity
The main VW Group tuner, ABT Sportsline, is experimenting with Lamborghini. The ABT Urus Scatenato, which translates to “unleashed” or “raging, wild” in Italian, is its current undertaking. The Urus Scatenato, which will only be produced in 99 pieces, aims to live up to its name by combining performance with exclusivity.
ABT starts with the performance-oriented versions of the Lamborghini Urus, adds power, and makes minor design changes, just like it does with Audi sedans and wagons. The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine in the Urus Performante cranks out 666 horsepower, so it’s no slouch in the power department. However, ABT manages to find 144 more horsepower utilizing its Power R technology.

ABT makes improvements to the aerodynamics of the Urus Scatenato to help channel the extra power. To increase the SUV’s aggressive appearance and produce more downforce, a unified spoiler with a centre blade is added to the front of the vehicle. The rear skirt and wing are also redesigned.
The Urus is built entirely out of carbon fibre, keeping with the notion of minor improvements. The engine cover, release, and engine compartment cover are all decorated with it. Glossy exposed carbon fibre is the main design feature inside. It includes trim for the gearshift, seat frame, and other trim elements.
The mirror caps, wing flares, side skirts, and hood vents of the exterior are also covered in exposed carbon fibre. The ABT High-Performance IRL 23-inch wheels’ ominous undertone is further increased by this. Additionally, the exhaust system, which has ABT 4-pipe titanium tailpipe tips, provides the Sctenato’s V8 with the ideal symphony.
The Urus Scatenato is comparable to the Audi RS Q8 Signature Edition ABT created last year as a complete. The Q8 employs a variant of the 4.0 twin-turbo V8 with 790 horsepower and shares its basis with the Porsche Cayenne and Lamborghini Urus. It can accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 kph) in 3.2 seconds. With ample runway, it will reach 196 mph, far outpacing the stock RS Q8.
ABT Sportsline has not provided performance numbers for the Urus Scatenato, but it’s a good bet the raging version of the Urus will see similar improvements. And if a stock Urus Performante is faster than a Porsche Cayman GTS 4.0 around Hockenheim, imagine what it can do with another 144 hp.
