2024 Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition Marks End Of Company’s ICE Sport Cars

Nobody probably imagined that the Jaguar F-Type, which made its debut back in 2013, would be the last of its kind. Sadly, the era of internal combustion engines in sports cars is coming to an end. By that, we mean a Jaguar sports car. A supercharged V8 engine powers the 2024 Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition, which will do one more dance before the electric revolution.

Jaguar uses its SV Bespoke group to improve the interior and exterior of this limited-production F-Type. This package is only available for the coupe or convertible. Oulton Blue Gloss or Crystal Grey Gloss are the first exterior colour choices, both of which are homages to the original E-Type. Choose blue to receive a two-tone interior awash with red and black, while the gray Jag comes with a blue/black combo. Jaguar says these colors have never been offered on the F-Type before.

Regardless of the colour you select, hand-painted roundels in brilliant white that pay tribute to the E-Type race cars that entered competition soon after the model’s 1961 premiere are painted on the doors. Each F-Type ZP Edition has 20-inch wheels with black inserts and white grille surrounds. Interior black trim is also present, and of course, special badging designating the vehicle as a special model is included. It is located internally on the dash and low on the fenders and door sills. A unique plaque also shows the precise production number, which ranges from 1 to 150. Yes, there will only be 150 built.

The mechanicals are identical to those found in P575 trim on the F-Type R underneath all of this. In case you forgot, that is a 5.0-liter V8 supercharged with 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The eight-speed automatic transmission drives all four wheels, and Jaguar claims that the F-Type R can sprint to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

2024 Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition

Like the E-type did five decades earlier, the F-Type has captured the attention of sports car drivers for more than a decade, according to Jaguar Managing Director Rawdon Glover. “The ZP Edition is the ultimate celebration of that lineage, joining an illustrious roster of heritage-inspired collector’s editions including the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 Heritage 60 Edition.”

Jaguar will continue to only release electrified automobiles starting in 2025. Pricing or a detailed breakdown of coupes versus convertibles haven’t been disclosed for this final F-Type ride. The starting price of a 2024 F-Type R P575 is $114,275; this price includes a $1,275 destination charge.
