“Prices will not change, no fees, no surcharges if you pay through cryptocurrencies,” Galliera added. “This was one of our main goals: avoiding, both our dealers and us, to directly handle cryptocurrencies, and being shielded from their wide fluctuations.”
As a final note, it’s worth pointing out that China is among the countries that restrict crypto payments, together with Egypt, North Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and others.
A little over three years after the current generation model went into production, Nissan’s best-selling product in the US will receive a mid-cycle update. The tiny crossover, which is also sold under the X-Trail name in other countries, is produced in Tennessee and is getting a light facelift that includes new bumpers and a more detailed version of the company’s V-motion grille. The inner graphics of the taillights have changed at the back Pearl, Baja Storm, Everest White Pearl, and a few two-tone finishes with a contrasting black roof.
Additionally, the emblems now have a satin finish, and the SV version of the Rogue has new 18-inch wheels. Nissan will install new 19-inch alloy wheels and glossy black body highlights if you choose the Platinum option. There are new colours available for the 2024 model year, including: Blue Ocean Deep
2024 Nissan Rogue
Inside the cabin, the 2024 Rouge is the first Nissan to feature Google built-in, which comes with a five-year plan, which is a more significant modification. The 12.3-inch touchscreen updated infotainment system that comes with it is available for the SL and Platinum versions, and it includes Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play. You can get to them without connecting your smartphone to the car.
It is wired on the S and SV grades and wireless on the SL and Platinum grades if you wish to use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. For the base infotainment, the two lower trim levels have a smaller eight-inch touchscreen. SiriusXM is offered in all four trim levels, although the SL and Platinum include SiriusXM 360L, which offers more content, including Pandora.
The two USB-C ports that come standard on the S may be used to charge your gadgets, while the SV, SL, and Platinum receive an additional two at the back of the centre console. Nissan will install a wireless charging pad in front of the gear lever if you upgrade to the SL or Platinum trim level. All Rogue cars, regardless of trim, are equipped with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of safety systems included as standard kit.
There aren’t any changes underneath the hood where the Rogue soldiers on with a three-cylinder, 1.5-liter unit. The variable-compression turbocharged (VC-Turbo) engine has been available since the 2022 model year when it replaced the old 2.5-liter unit by bringing a boost in horsepower and torque of 11 and 24 percent, respectively. Output stands at 201 hp and 225 lb-ft, routed to the road via a continuously variable transmission that was also updated for the 2022 Rogue for quicker and smoother shifting.
Nissan will have the 2024 Rogue on sale in the US from early next year in S, SV, SL, and Platinum grades, with pricing to be disclosed closer to launch. The outgoing 2023MY was offered from $27,910 for the front-wheel-drive S to $38,990 for the all-wheel-drive Platinum.
