If you find that you keep on receiving spam calls, then it would be worth it to block numbers on an iPhone. However, there are times when an unintended individual is blocked, and then you have to unblock him/ her so that he/she can start calling and texting you again. I’ll show you how to do that.
How to View and Unblock Blocked Numbers on iPhone.
When you block a number on your iPhone, you shield yourself from the blocked person in that you cannot receive the person’s calls, sms, or FaceTime. Blocked contacts on your iPhone do not even leave a notification that they have called or sent a message to your number.
Your iPhone applies a blocked list regardless of the type of the call – it can be a standard phone call, text message, iMessage, or FaceTime. You only need to delete the number or contact information from this list to unblock someone. Here’s how to do it:
1. First, open a Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Go to Apps > Samsung > Phone > More tools > Blocked contacts to discover all the contacts You have blocked on your iPhone.
3. To unblock a particular contact, swipe left on the corresponding contact thumbnail.
4. To unblock someone from the block list, tap on Unblock, and the person’s name will be removed from the blocked list.
How to Prevent Your iPhone From Blocking Unknown Callers
Do you have a list of “blocked contacts”: have you stopped getting calls or messages from individuals though the list is empty? This can occur if the “Silence Unknown Callers” mode is on your iPhone, which will be discussed in the next point. Turning it on means that your iPhone rejects any call from a number not on your contact list.
To prevent your iPhone from silencing unknown callers:
1. This is where you will find settings on the iPhone, so touch that Settings icon.
2. Go to Apps > Phone.
3. Scroll further down and click on the Silence Unknown Callers selection.
4. the option that switches off Unknown Callers should be disabled.
Likewise, you can unblock messages from unknown senders on your iPhone just as you unblock someone on your iPhone. Go to Settings > Apps > Messages > Unknown & Spam > Filter Unknown Senders.
In the same way, you can unblock messages from unknown senders on your iPhone as you unblock someone on your iPhone. To do so, go to the settings tab Apps then Messages then more options and then Unknown & Spam then Filter Unknown Senders.
