- From the menu, select Interface (upper left corner).
- The Use Custom Skin option is located within the Look and Feel settings. Verify this selection.
- To open the file explorer window, press Choose.
- Choose the skin file for dark mode that you already downloaded from the VLC website.
- Once your skin has finished uploading, click Save.
- Shut down VLC and open it again. At this point, the skin should be in dark mode.
